Meet Rebecca, Assistant Quality Control Manger, Trunk Show Coordinator, Veil-maker, and new dog mama :

Can you describe your role at Truvelle?
I am the Assistant Quality Control Manager, my amazing team and I make sure that gowns are on schedule and that they meet our company's standards. Along with that I am also the trunk show coordinator and I make all the veils.

What does your typical day look like?
Usually I start by looking at what we need to get done for that day so it can be prioritized. We work with some tight deadlines so we need to make sure we are ahead of the game. I go over trunk shows, scheduling weekends with our retailers and making sure they get to their next destination on time — lots of planning! After the dresses have been made I go over them and get them ready to be shipped out.

Is there anything most people get wrong about your job, or is there something that might surprise brides to learn about your job?
Quality control is an important step, it's where we make sure the dress is exactly as it should be. We put a lot of care and attention in to each and every dress. When I'm checking over someone's dress I look at it as if it were my dress and how I would want it to look.

What is your favorite Truvelle memory?
There are too many! I think it has to be our work retreat to Whistler one summer. We all went to the beach and bought those donut floaties, it was a blast.

What is one thing you will always find on your desk on any given day?

Sticky notes. I am always worried I'll forget something so I make notes for everything!

    What is your favourite dress?
Right now my favourite is Kim. I love the chiffon ties at the back, the long train and the bodice has amazingly beautiful lace. It's just so pretty.

    How would you style it?
I would keep it simple since there is already a lot of beading on the top, maybe a pair of nice stud earrings, hair in a loose bun, a deep red lip, and some strappy heels.

Earrings: Infinite Line Earrings by ASEA, Lips: #obsessed by Stylenada, Shoes: Gilliana by Aldo.

    Your drink of choice?
Greyhound, grapefruit and vodka. The best.

Current tv show you’re binge watching?
Stranger things. I just started to watch season two and it's so good!

Three things you can’t live without?
I'm going to say my phone, not that I am obsessed with being on social media, but because it has all my reminders and I would be lost with out them. Cookies, specifically chocolate chip. And my pets : )

You and your boyfriend just bought a dog, what will you name her?
Yes! My new little puppy's name is Taco. To name her my boyfriend David and I were trying to think of something we both love and we both said Taco's and we had her name.
