Words from the bride, Isabella:
We met in our first year of university during orientation week. My first thoughts were 'wow he's cute, and he's in the same program!'
Neither of us had a specific moment where we knew the other person was "the one", but Camilo told me once that about 3 years into our relationship, as I drove home from his house he had a thought that one day, we were going to get married.
The proposal was perfect. We had just moved everything from our old apartment into our current apartment and were back at the empty apartment to say goodbye and celebrate, with some wine, the first apartment we had had together. When we arrived, he had a bottle of champagne from the year we met (2008) waiting in the fridge, and then got down on one knee with the ring and asked me to marry him! It was super intimate and so amazing—we were both in tears and so happy!
For our wedding, we both wanted something simple and modern. I love fresh flowers, so we made sure that the majority of the decor was flowers. We picked a florist who understood our vision and she did such an amazing job!
