October 1, 2016 Maggie + Elliot
The day :
Very calm and relaxed, but also intimate and full of excitement, lots of emotion, love, constant smiles, tears of joy and blessings. It started out with a morning walk on the beach, waves rolling in, the breeze brushing against her hair, and slightly misty backdrop. The weather was perfect, lights were falling gracefully in between the trees, creating this magnificent shimmering glow on everyone. Maggie and Elliott, surrounded by their loved ones, stood in the middle of the redwood forest to promise everlasting love for one another. Just five of their closest friends and family got to witness this wonderful celebration, you can imagine how emotions were flowing out. It touched my heart. The celebration came to an end on the hilltop full of daisies — dancing away till the sun sank over the horizon. The way Maggie and Elliott look at each other, their walk and wedding, the light, the people — every second, every moment was an inspiration.
Memorable moments :
The first look. As Maggie walked towards Elliott, the expression on their faces.. and the moment he turned around, they couldn't speak — truly speechless, just tears of joy and smiles and love everything all at once. Soooo much love, you could just see it.
The location :
They always had a dream of getting married amongst the redwoods. They're from Edmonton, Canada and travelled all the way to California to find their perfect spot.
