April 6, 2017 Jenna + Brenden
Words from the Bride, Jenna:
The day was perfect. It started with a crisp, overcast morning with the most beautiful view of the mountains and bison roaming the fields. Everything went smoothly from getting ready, to vows, to our first dance. Our venue, the perfect backdrop to our country wedding, was accented with our personal touches. The food was amazing. The speeches were meaningful and heartfelt. We got to share our special day with 80 of our closest friends and family. It was a day full of love, laughs and tears of joy.
A few years ago our family tragically lost my mom. On the day of the wedding, it had been overcast all day. As soon as I walked down the isle to meet Brenden where we would say our vows, the sun streamed through the clouds. I knew it was her giving us sunshine for our special day and letting us know she was still there with us. I chose to honour my mom by wearing her veil. A beautiful vintage lace piece that she wore when she married my dad at the age of 18.
My favourite shot is one of Brenden and I standing and looking at each other with the beautiful mountains in the background. It's such an effortlessly beautiful photo and it really captures "us" perfectly.
