July 11, 2017 Brittney + Drew
Words from the bride, Brittney:
We knew before we even got engaged that we would have a destination wedding — it’s just us. We’re both a little non-traditional and like to do things our way, even if it goes against the norm. That was our mantra throughout planning and I loved seeing all of the personal details come together on our wedding day. From the tropical, teal groomsmen shoes matched perfectly to a pair of socks with taco dinosaurs to the amazingly perfect print of the skirt on my wedding dress — it all reflected our style. I knew when I saw this dress it was meant for me. It fit like a glove, everyone said it’s like it was made for me. The Carolina couldn’t have matched my wedding style any better: soft romance in the top with some fab flair on the bottom. Perfection! One of my favorite moments was showing it to Drew for the first time that day!
The day was flawless. Yes, it poured rain during our photos in the afternoon. Yes, the Mexican sun really showed us what it was made of that day. And yes, there were some last minute changes (due to rain again at cocktail hour)! But we were with our closest friends and family in a beautiful setting getting MARRIED! And hey, don’t they say rain on your wedding day is good luck?? I’d agree because that rain brought us a gorgeous rainbow over the ocean right as we started to celebrate!
