October 10, 2016 Abby + Charles
Our #truvellebrides have the best style. Beyond being one half of the gorgeous couple, Abby Roses is a photographer, florist and stylist. Her photographs and work have been featured on the like of Everlane, Folk magazine and Darling magazine (just to name a few!) We couldn't be happier to see her rocking the Alexandra gown (found at a&bé in Dallas) on her beautiful and intimate day. Check out her photography and floral arrangements on her website, Abby Roses.
Words from the photographer, Melissa :
It really was one of my favorite weddings to date. Charles + Abby are endlessly kind, and their family members are wonderful + stylish + inspiring to be around. It was an honour getting to capture these two's love + wedding day.
The day :
The day was super relaxed + laid back. Full of quiet + sweet moments, everything seemed to move to a slower and more intimate beat that day. No one was in a hurry or rush, no one cared about little things, or big for that matter. It was all about these two who had found each other and were ready to vow themselves to one another.
Memorable moments :
Abby's mom putting makeup on Abby, helping her into her dress, and watching her read the letter she had written her. Charles standing antsy awaiting the first look with Abby. The genuine squeals of disbelief and excitement between Charles + Abby while saying their vows. The sick shots we got at twilight.
The location :
The location was was special because it was away from civilization. It was secluded, focused, beautiful and full of cacti :]
